Can I have additional time before or after an appointment?

Yes, if you need some extra time after a service is complete, let’s say, if cleaning up is required, you can instruct the system to reserve this time automatically. All you need to do is to add a ‘buffer time’ to that particular service.

How do I set service buffer time?

This can be done via ‘services page’ (https://www.planfy.com/portal/services).

Select a specific service, then click on the ‘Settings’ tab and there’ll be able to enter how many minutes before or after the appointment you need to be reserved.

In the example below the service has 0 minute buffer time before the appointment and 30 minutes reserved after the appointment.

How do I set buffer time for one appointment only?

If you don’t want to set a buffer rule for a service which would apply to all bookings of that service but instead wish to have a buffer for one time only, you can add “one off” buffer time via “booking popup”. Click the arrow icon in the “Duration” input field, this will reveal “Before” and “After” buffer fields.

In the example below, a one off 20 minute buffer is added after the appointment.
